Who we are. Blue's Bunny Kingdom is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, EIN 99-0417282, located at 29399 Agoura Rd, Suite 114, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. This policy describes what we collect through bluesbunny.org, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect.

You give us. Your name and email when you join our list. Application information when you apply to foster or volunteer, which may include your home address, phone number, housing details, household composition, other animals in your home, veterinary references, and personal references. Messages you send through our contact form. Organization and contact details when you apply to become a listing partner, and the listing content and photographs you submit. Your name, email, and gift details when you donate, collected by our donation processor.

Collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring source, and similar analytics information.

We do not collect payment card numbers or bank account information. Donations are processed by our third-party donation platform and card data never reaches our systems.

Why we use it. To send the updates you asked for. To evaluate and respond to foster, volunteer, and partner applications. To coordinate animal care and placement. To acknowledge donations and meet our recordkeeping and reporting obligations. To operate, secure, and improve the site.

How we share it. With service providers who work on our behalf, including our website host, database provider, email delivery provider, analytics provider, and donation platform, each only as needed to perform their function. With veterinary providers where necessary for the care of an animal in our program. Where required by law, subpoena, or court order. In connection with a merger or transfer of our operations to another charitable organization.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information for anyone else's marketing purposes. We do not share our donor list.

Applicant information. Foster and volunteer application data is accessible only to authorized personnel. It is not published, not shared with other applicants, and not disclosed to partner organizations.

Cookies and analytics. We use cookies and analytics tools to understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser; some functions may not work correctly if you do.

Do Not Track. Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

Email. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all list email. It does not stop messages about an application or an animal in your care.

Retention. We keep subscriber information until you unsubscribe and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep application information for three years, and longer where a placement occurred. We keep donation records as long as tax and charitable reporting law requires.

Your choices. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to Sarah@bluesbunny.org. We will respond within thirty days. We may retain information we are legally required to keep.

Children. This site is not directed to children under thirteen and we do not knowingly collect their information. Volunteer and foster applicants must be eighteen or older.

Security. We use access controls, encryption in transit, and role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes. We will post any change here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced by email to our list.
